چکیده
Abstract Background Patient-specific active fluid–structure interactions (FSI) model is a useful approach to non-invasively investigate the hemodynamics in heart. However, it takes lot of effort obtain proper external force boundary conditions for models, which heavily restrained time-sensitive clinical applications computational models. Methods The simulation results 12 passive FSI models based on 6 patients’ pre-operative and post-operative CT images were compared with corresponding differences cardiac mechanics between these Results In comparing was found that there no significant difference pressure shear stress mitral valve leaflet (MVL) at pre-SAM time point, but wall inner left ventricle (endocardium). It also coapted MVL significantly decreased after successful surgery both Conclusion Our suggested may provide good approximated hemodynamic 5% RR interval, crucial analyzing initiation systolic anterior motion (SAM). Comparing decrease complexity modeling construction difficulty convergence significantly. These findings suggest that, sufficient data, be substitution perform analysis SAM.

Sensitivity Analysis of Left Ventricle with Dilated Cardiomyopathy in Fluid Structure Simulation
Dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) is the most common myocardial disease. It not only leads to systolic dysfunction but also diastolic deficiency. We sought to investigate the effect of idiopathic and ischemic DCM on the intraventricular fluid dynamics and myocardial wall mechanics using a 2D axisymmetrical fluid structure interaction model. In addition, we also studied the individual effect of param...

When modeling the cardiovascular system, the effect of the vessel wall on the blood flow has great relevance. Arterial vessels are complex living tissues and three-dimensional specific models have been proposed to represent their behaviour. The numerical simulation of the 3D3D Fluid Structure Interaction (FSI) coupled problem has high computational costs in terms of required time and memory sto...

Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is an autosomal dominant inherited genetic disease characterized by compensatory pathological left ventricle (LV) hypertrophy due to sarcomere dysfunction. In an important proportion of patients with HCM, the site and extent of cardiac hypertrophy results in severe obstruction to LV outflow tract (LVOT), contributing to disabling symptoms and increasing the ris...

D ynamic obstruction to left ventricular (LV) outflow as a result of mitral valve systolic anterior motion is a potentially deleterious facet of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM).1-4 In many patients, outflow obstruction is largely responsible for disabling symptoms of heart failure such as exertional dyspnea (often with chest pain), fatigue, and orthopnea.ls3 Consequently, treatment interventi...
